My own wine is in the making! Details here!
Dear friend,
The great and not so good are as always very close together!
Just two weeks before taking a flight to Shanghai I have been informed that the North Korean officials have cancelled the Pyongyang Marathon without giving any reasons. I know it’s a 1st world problem, but still I am very disappointed. I tried to get over it with a short term decision to visit Madeira, check out my footage from there.
But now to the great news and lasted positive development. I finally will be producing my own wine, a blend which is very special and can not really be found on the market. Check out more details here.
As always, things keeps moving here. I am still hopeful to be able to visit North Korea one of these days, There are signs going into the right direction such as the resuming of the train service Beijing – Pyongyang and China Air also starting regular flights again to North Korea.
The last longer trips last year were Vietnam and the US.
I visited Vietnam from North to South, including the two big cities and of course rural areas and last but not least Vietnams spectacular rural and mountainous Northwest and its coast line. The most recent footage is always first on my insta profile.
Then after the middle of November a US trip with both coasts, first the East to visit my son and then heading out west to my beloved San Diego, obviously always special to me as San Diego feels like a second home.
If you haven’t already checked out my other longer trips in 2025 to Mongolia (my second last UN country) and my Southeast US States Road Trip with my son last May/June head to those trip reports.
